Spotsylvania Shooting Kills One, Injures Another: Police
The shooting happened Monday just before 9 p.m. in the 9900 block of Matti Hill Court, Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office officials said.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a Monday night shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured. The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in the 9900 block of Matti Hill Court, police said.
After arriving on the scene, police found one man dead from gunshot wounds, according to police. Shortly after, the office’s 911 Center received a call from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center that an adult male arrived at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was later transferred to another hospital in critical condition, police said.
Detectives are still investigating the case. Meanwhile, police said the shooting appears to be isolated and there is no immediate threat to the community.
