String of Armed Robberies Likely Linked
At least two robberies in same night appear to have been committed by the same man, according to Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators believe that two armed robberies Tuesday night were committed by the same man, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect may also be responsible for a similar robbery in Woodbridge later in the night.
At 8:30 p.m., a male suspect entered the Babylon Mart and Kabob store in the 10900 block of Courthouse Road. He was was described as a white male in his 20’s, tall and thin, wearing a plaid shirt, grey hooded shirt and jeans.

He was wearing black gloves and a white cloth mask covering his head and face. He brandished an unknown type handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He exited the store with a small amount of cash.
In the second robbery, at about 10 p.m., the suspect entered the Fas-Mart convenience store, located in the 11000 block of Leavells Road.

Wearing the same clothing and brandishing a similar firearm, the suspect physically grabbed the clerk and forced her to open the cash register. He took a small amount of cash from the register and then ran out of the store in an unknown direction.
In the armed robbery in Woodbridge, the suspect pointed a weapon at a cashier. The employee determined the weapon was a pellet gun. When the suspect put the gun down to grab for cash, the employee picked it up and pointed it at the suspect. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
