Robbery Ends When Cashier Picks Up Weapon
Man may be linked to two earlier robberies, but his night ended when he lost his pellet gun to a fast-acting cashier.

An armed robber held up the Cloverdale 7-Eleven at Wednesday night, according to Prince William County Police.
The description of the suspect is similar to the suspect in two armed robberies earlier in the night in Spotsylvania County.
At 11:27 p.m., the suspect entered the store at 14820 Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge, pointing a weapon at the cashier and demanding money. During the exchange, the employee determined the weapon was a pellet gun, according to police.

When the suspect placed the pellet gun on the counter as he reached for the cash register, the employee picked it up and pointed it at the suspect, who then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white male wearing a black beanie and white face mask with long sleeve shirt and black pants.
No injuries were reported.
