Thanksgiving 2017: What's Open, Closed In Fredericksburg
Some services in Fredericksburg are closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Here's the Thanksgiving week holiday schedule for Fredericksburg (and Spotsylvania):
- Government offices will be closed Wednesday-Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Wednesday recycling will take place on schedule. There will be no trash or recycling pick up on Thursday. Trash and recycling collections for both Thursday and Friday will take place on Friday.
- The Belman Road recycling center and the Stafford landfill will be closed Thursday. Both locations will be open normal hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Spotsylvania County government offices will close noon on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. County parks, the Livingston landfill and all convenience centers will be closed Thursday.
- There will be no Virginia Railway Express service Thanksgiving Day. VRE will operate on a "S" schedule Friday. Only trains with an "S" above the train number on the schedule will operate.
- All branches of Central Rappahannock Regional Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
