Tiano O'Dell Scholarship for Students Across the Autism Spectrum

Tiano O'Dell is offering a scholarship for students who have been diagnosed with autism.

Transitioning from high school to postsecondary education is never easy and for students with autism, this change can present unique and difficult challenges.

In the United States, autism cases have appeared to jump greatly in 2014 and researchers now estimate that the prevalence is 2.24 percent (or 1 in 45). As a community, it is important that we stand ready to help support these individuals and their scholarly ambitions.

That's why Tiano O'Dell, PLLC is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship for students with autism who have decided to further their education by enrolling in postsecondary education.

All interested applicants are asked to submit proof of enrollment in an accredited postsecondary institution (technical school, college, university), documented autism diagnosis, and a 500+ word essay which shares their story, including future aspirations (college, career, etc.) and how the scholarship will assist with future goals.

The scholarship is available to all incoming and current college students in the United States, and applications will be accepted until September 30, 2016. After the deadline, the attorneys at Tiano O'Dell, LLC will review the entries and select one applicant who best demonstrates how the scholarship will help create a better future for him or her. The funds can then be used for any school-related costs such as tuition, boarding, books, or school supplies.
