Vascular Surgeon Sadie Ahanchi, MD, FACS Joins VIVA
Dr. Ahanchi is the third board-certified vascular surgeon at VIVA, joining Dr. Victor D'Addio and Dr. Larry Koenig.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA, June 20, 2021 - Virginia Interventional and Vascular Associates (VIVA) and its parent group, Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg (RAF) Ltd., are pleased to announce that S. Sadie Ahanchi, MD, FACS, has joined the practice.
Dr. Ahanchi is the third board-certified vascular surgeon at VIVA, joining Dr. Victor D’Addio and Dr. Larry Koenig. Together, the practice offers streamlined services for referring physicians and vascular patients throughout the central Virginia area.
Dr. Ahanchi joins the practice with more than a decade of experience treating vascular disease. Her medical degree and general surgery training were completed at the University of Illinois and her vascular surgery fellowship training was completed at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has been involved in numerous research trials and has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
