Vegetarian Eatery Looking for New Owner: Media Report

A vegetarian restaurant that has served diners in downtown Fredericksburg since 1981 has been put up for sale.

Sammy T’s restaurant, at the corner of Caroline and Hanover streets, is being offered by the heirs of Samuel T. Emory, the restaurant’s founder. They plan to keep the restaurant open until a sale is completed, according to the Frederiksburg Free Lance-Star.

Sammy T’s has served such fare as veggie lasagna, grilled bean-and-grain-burgers and gluten-free chocolate cake, according to a 2012 review in the Free Lance-Star.
