“My parents were extremely supportive of my hobbies, my mother was a teacher and artist and she influenced and taught me so much of what I do, their support is invaluable.”
Yesha gained a Master of Commerce in India and later an M.B.A in the USA, where she has been living for 6 years. When asked about working on the fast paced finances field she says “I love doing numbers, and making art, but I am also enjoying being at home with my daughter.”

An accomplished glass painter, mosaic artist, muralist, and Indian pot painter she explains that the body of work shown in Formation has been a difficult process to make, as the very sand she utilizes in her work come from different places in India, known for their fine, and interestingly hued sand. This makes for a very small collection of one of a kind pieces for half our our gallery. Besides her artworks, AM will feature Yesha’s handmade India jewelry designs.
Our second half of the gallery will belong to Yuno Baswir, born in Duri he studied painting at the Indonesian Art Institute in Yogyakarta and later received his MFA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
An active member of the DC’s arts community, some of Yuno’s most exciting shows include Staff Show at The Phillips Collection Museum, Washington DC Solo show at Indonesian Embassy, Washington DC.
He is a member of artdc.org
