FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Presidents Day is coming, bringing a much appreciated a three-day weekend to workers and students throughout the Fredericksburg area.

To mark the occasion, many government offices and facilities will close on Monday, Feb. 20.

  • Fredericksburg Government Offices: Closed on Feb. 20.
  • Spotsylvania County Government Offices: All county offices and facilities are closed on Feb. 20, except for Livingston landfill & convenience center, county museum & visitor's center, which are all open regular hours.
  • Stafford County Government Offices: Closed on Feb. 20.
  • Courts: Circuit Court, General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court are closed on Feb. 20.
  • Fredericksburg Public Schools: Closed on Feb. 20.
  • Spotsylvania County Public Schools: Closed on Feb. 20.
  • Stafford County Public Schools: Closed on Feb. 20.
  • Fredericksburg Trash & Recycling: Regular service on Feb. 20.
  • Central Rappahannock Regional Library: All branches will be closed on Feb. 20.
  • Post Offices: Closed Feb. 20.
  • FRED Transit: Regular schedule on Feb. 20.
  • VRE: Closed on Feb. 20.
