Woman Knocked Unconscious During Fredericksburg Robbery

A woman was knocked out during a robbery at Fredericksburg's Central Park shopping center, police say.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—A woman was knocked unconscious during a robbery at Central Park shopping center Saturday, police say.

Around 3 a.m., the woman was walking near Office Depot when an unknown male suspect came up from behind. She was hit in the face and fell unconscious. When she woke up, she found her cell phone was gone.

The victim walked back to her hotel and called for an ambulance. Police continue to investigate.

Brandishing Firearm: 400 block Rann Court, 8/5, 11:00 p.m. A City resident reported that s silver Ford SUV was parked in her designated parking spot. After asking the driver of the SUV to move his vehicle, a passenger in the vehicle rolled down his window and displayed a black firearm. The suspect is described as a
black male, approximately 5’10”, with a military-style haircut. He was wearing a white shirt and
dark shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

Vandalism of a Motor Vehicle: 800 block Princess Anne Street, 8/6, 6:00 p.m. A citizen reported that an unknown person shattered the rear-view window of her vehicle. No items were missing from the vehicle. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
