ā¢ 137 vases stolen from Tennessee, Virginia cemeteries recovered by police (wate.com) ā Investigators traced a major cemetery theft case to a recycling yard in Gate City, where 131 stolen bronze vases were recovered and the business owner was arrested on possession of stolen property charges. The vases, taken from childrenās and family graves across Northeast Tennessee and Scott County, represent only about a third of whatās missing. Families are urged to contact Sullivan County authorities if they suspect a loved oneās vase was stolen.
