• Pulaski unveils new mural, as Galax cancels its mural over controversial debate (wvtf.org) — Big Stone Gap is in line to receive a new public mural, still in development, thanks to the same regional grant program that funded fresh artwork in Pulaski and Wytheville. The piece will be part of a broader Southwest Virginia push to use murals to celebrate local culture, outdoor recreation, and community diversity. While Galax’s mural was canceled amid controversy, funding partners are continuing projects elsewhere.
