3. Assistant state medical examiner fired over false certification letter; some murders she testified in being questioned (pilotonline.com) — Some Hampton Roads murder convictions — including at least one in Hampton — are under scrutiny after an assistant state medical examiner was fired for submitting an inauthentic forensic board certification letter. 4.
