1 Hospitalized With Non-Life Threatening Due To Injuries Sustained In Herndon House Fire

HERNDON, VA — One person was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries following an early morning house fire Wednesday in the Town of Herndon. No other injuries were reported.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units responded to the 650 block of Stuart Court for the report of a house fire. Heavy fire was showing from the front and side of the home, according to a post on FCFRD's official Twitter account.

By 1:15 a.m., the fire was under control and crews were hitting hotspots. Although fire inspectors were reported on the scene, no information was available about the cause of the fire or the extent of damage.
