2 Aggravated Assaults On Elden Street In Herndon: Police

Two men have been arrested in separate incidents on Elden Street in the last week.

HERNDON, VA -- Police have made two arrests after two aggravated assaults in separate incidents on Elden Street in Herndon in the past week.

In the first incident, police arrested 57-year-old Pedro Quinero Gonzalez on Oct. 13 after he stabbed someone he knew in the abdomen in the 1200 block of Elden Street, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department. Gonzalez was charged with malicious wounding.

In the second incident, police arrested 31-year-old Bakari Kamau George of Reston after he struck someone he knew in the face with a pint glass, the report states. The victim was taken to Reston Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and George was charged with malicious wounding.
