2 Herndon College Students Receive Academic Honors

HERNDON, VA — Many Herndon-area college students are now out at Walmart and Target picking up items to make dorm-life more bearable. Some students are just beginning their post-high school careers, while others have been racking up honors at their educational institutions.

The following students were recognized recently by their respective schools for their academic achievements:

• Noha Awais of Herndon, who is a member of the class of 2024 at Tufts University, earned dean's list honors for the spring 2021 semester.
• Jordan Rees of Herndon graduated in May 2021 from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Rees was also named to the president's honors list and the dean's list for the spring 2021 semester.
