2 Robberies Investigated By Herndon Police
The Herndon Police Department are investigating two robberies that took place last Friday in the Town of Herndon.

HERNDON, VA — The Herndon Police Department is investigating two robberies that took place last Friday in Herndon, according to the weekly crime report.
The first incident took place when a passenger pointed a gun at a taxi driver and demanded money as he was exiting the taxi in the 500 block of Early Fall Court. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

In the second incident, the victim was walking through a parking lot in the 1000 block of Elden Street when the suspect approached him and demanded money. The victim declined at first, but the suspect implied he had a weapon. After the victim complied, the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both cases remain under investigation by HPD.

During the week of March 23-29, Town of Herndon officers issued 13 traffic summons, including 3 for driving while intoxicated and 3 for driving with no operators license.
There were 2 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon last week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
