Update (Nov. 10, 10:20 a.m.): A post on the Fairfax County Police Department's Twitter account at 9:46 a.m., reported detectives were still clearing the scene and investigating the particulars of the case.

HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County Police have apprehended two suspects in connection with an early morning robbery in the Herndon area of the county, according to a post on FCPD's official Twitter account.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of Rock Hill Road for a robbery that occurred around 4:47 a.m., Tuesday.

Police say a victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The public is asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
