2022 Herndon Haunted Houses: Patch Halloween Decoration Gallery

HERNDON, VA — The Historic Herndon Halloween House is celebrating its 18th year with decorations highlighting the Tim Burton holiday classic "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

The display includes a creepy mailbox containing free peppermints and stickers, a Jack Skellington doorbell to ring, and Find Jack, which is the homeowner's version of The Elf on a Shelf.

Located at 610 Spring St. in Herndon, the Halloween House even has its own Instagram account and Facebook page.

Some displays are visible during the day and the others only at night. The home is just a short walk away from downtown Herndon, where visitors can do some pre-Halloween shopping or grab a bit to eat. Free parking is available nearby in the town lot on Nash and Pearl streets.

Visitors are welcome to take outside-only photos of the Halloween House, but it is a private residence and the owners ask that no one enter the yard or touch any of the the displays.
