$2K Scholarships Available For Herndon High Student-Athletes

HERNDON, VA — Herndon High School senior student-athletes can now apply for an HHS Sports Boosters Ruth LeDane and Bill Hildbold Scholarship Award.

HHS Sports Boosters Club is offering the one-time $2,000 scholarships to three male and three female student-athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically.

Qualifying candidates must also be active members of the Herndon community outside of sports. This could include being an active member of a community organization, HHS club, or some other group.

To be eligible for a scholarship award, a student must have earned a 2.75 grade point average or higher. They must also demonstrate community involvement, good sportsmanship, and shown respect for coaches, officials, and administrators. Applicants must also have been involved in high school sports for at least three years and earned two varsity letters.
