$4,500 In Grant Funding Available For Herndon Artists

Herndon artists planning to apply for Virginia Commission for the Arts grants have only a few days to submit their proposals.

HERNDON, VA — Local artists, time is running out to apply for up to $4,500 in grant money from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

The Town of Herndon is accepting grant proposals for projects to be implemented in FY 2022. Interested artists and nonprofit organizations should check out the FY2022 Guidelines for Funding for more information about the application process.

In order to qualify for a Creative Communities Partnership Grant, nonprofit arts organizations incorporated in the town must meet VCA's 2021-2022 Guidelines for Funding, which are available on www.arts.virginia.gov.

The deadline to submit a proposal for grant funding to the Performing Arts Supervisor at the Town of Herndon Department of Parks and Recreation is 4 p.m., on Friday, March 12. Proposals may be dropped off at the Herndon Community Center (814 Ferndale Ave., Herndon, VA, 20170) or emailed to holly.popple@herndon-va.gov.
