6 Juveniles Charged In Assault And Robbery, Theft At Herndon Business

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police arrested six juveniles in connection with two recent incidents, one involving an assault and robbery and the other to do with the theft of merchandise from a town business, according to the weekly crime report.

In the first case, the victim told police that around 6:30 p.m., on July 23, a group of six juveniles approached him in the 1300 block of Worldgate Drive. After a fight broke out between him and one of the six juveniles, he was assaulted and had his personal property taken, according to police. Four juveniles were arrested by police and face multiple charges, according to the crime report.

In the second case, police arrested two juveniles they say stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise from a business in the 720 block of Grant Street. The two had gained entry into the business around 3 a.m., on July 30, by forcing their way through the front door, according to police. The two juveniles face multiple charges in connection with the case.

Herndon Police also arrested 21-year-old Stephen Hensley of Baltimore, Maryland, according to the report. Police charged Hensley with two counts of burglary and one count of assaulting someone who was known to him. Hensley is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
