Abduction, Assault On Police Officer Charges Filed Against Herndon Man

HERNDON, VA — A 34-year-old Herndon man is in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center facing multiple charges, including assault and abduction, according to police.

Town of Herndon Police arrested and charged Elizahday Medlock McKenzie on June 22. Police say that the day before he threatened to rape a female acquaintance and prevented her from leaving her home in the 100 block of Laurel Way.

After taking Medlock McKenzie into custody, police charged him with assaulting a police officer, obstruction of justice and abduction. He remains in custody without bond.
