Add "Ballet to Go!©" to Your Child's Summer Plans!

Saturdays, 9:30 am-10:15 am, July 1st-July 29th

Children delight in this introduction to dance in a playful, structured setting with activities and movement patterns that encourage self-discovery and imagination and that focus on increasing physicality, improving coordination, and enhancing fine and gross motor skills. Designed with preschoolers in mind, each weekly, 45-minute class explores a different fairy tale ballet, such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Peter and the Wolf, Coppelia, and Hansel and Gretel. With each experience, children recreate the tale’s plot and emotions with music, costumes, props, pantomime, and body language, all the while nurturing their love of dance and make-believe. At the end of every class, each child receives a special “Ballet in a Bag” that tells the story of the week and contains related, fun-filled activities to encourage continued exploration.
