Aggravated Assault, Abduction Charges Filed Against Herndon Man

HERNDON, VA — A Herndon man was arrested for assault on Saturday in connection with an altercation that occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court, according to the weekly crime report.

Town of Herndon Police charged 26-year-old Henry Mauricio Sabillon Zelaya of Herndon with aggravated assault (strangulation), abduction, preventing a call to emergency services, and assault, according to the report.

Zelaya is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Herndon Police are also investigating an early morning robbery at a business in the 1100 block of Elden street, according to the report. An undisclosed amount of merchandise was taken from the business around 3:20 a.m., on Sunday.
