Aggravated Assault Charge Filed Against Herndon Man: Police Report
Herndon Police say that a local man assaulted a juvenile victim he knew on Saturday afternoon at an address on Clearwater Court.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police arrested 24-year-old Milton Antonio Barrera Ramirez for assault, according to the weekly police report.
Police charged Barrera Ramirez with aggravated assault of a juvenile victim that was known to him in connection with an incident that occurred round 3:36 p.m., on Saturday, in the 600 block of Clearwater Court, according to the report.
Barrera Ramirez was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was held without bond.

From Oct. 10-16, Herndon Police issued 65 traffic summons, including two for driving while intoxicated, four with no operators license, three for driving on a suspended or revoked license, and one for operating a vehicle while holding a phone, according to the report.
During that same time period, there were five reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. A reportable crass is one that causes at least $1,500 property damage and/or injury.
