Annual Taste of the Town Raises Funds for Council for the Arts
The annual Taste of the Town raised more than $10,000, which will help fund scholarships for Herndon-area students with an interest in art.
The annual Taste of the Town, held at Worldgate Center on April 19, drew in a crowd of hungry people who tasted foods from more than 20 restaurants in the Herndon area.
The event raised more than $10,000 for the Council for the Arts of Herndon, which provides scholarships to Herndon-area students and creates arts programs in Herndon, such as the hands-on art area at Herndon Festival. Participating restaurants and eateries included O'Sullivan's, Jimmy's Old Town Tavern, TGI Friday's, Supper Club of India, TurCuisine, Cold Stone Creamery and more.
