Mark Bucko lives on Ladybank Lane and couldn't return home Sunday because of the standoff. “It’s kind of a surprise. I mean it’s a quiet neighborhood, great neighborhood. I’ve been here since ’94 and it’s been a great place to raise a family and everything," Bucko said, according to WTOP.
Bucko was "So surprised to wake up to all this excitement but police seem to have it under control, trying to keep everybody safe and hopefully get a good resolution of the situation and that’s all we’re hoping for.”

Police used a robot and gas grenades in attempt to get Moaf out of the house. Two adult family members made it out of the house uninjured.
Moaf was taken into custody at the end of the incident. WTOP reported he began to get sick while on the way to a psychiatric evaluation, however, and was taken to the emergency room for treatment.
Moaf is being charged with reckless handling of a firearm.
