Arrowbrook Centre Earns Best Workplaces for Commuters - Residential Site Designation

Herndon's Arrowbrook Centre was recognized today as a Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC) - Residential Site, when the 2026 List was released. Arrowbrook Centre, the first residential community in Virginia to earn that designation, was recognized for offering exceptional, sustainable, and convenient transportation amenities to its residents and retail tenants.

Arrowbrook Centre was specifically recognized for:

• Having on site amenities that reduce trips.
• Its close proximity to the Innovation Center Metro station.
• Providing a commuter info kiosk to residents.
• Promoting ride matching and the Guaranteed Ride Home program.
• Engaging DATA Mobility Partners as its transportation management association.

BWC™ is the national authority on recognizing and assisting workplaces that provide exceptional commuter benefits to employees and a BWC Best Site is a designation created for commercial and retail developers, shopping malls, business campuses and other multi-employer developments. BWC™ provides expert guidance to help organizations develop and enhance their transportation programs. The program is hosted by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida (USF).
