Herndon Man Arrested For Assault; Victim Receives Treatment For Injuries: Updated
Town of Herndon police had a suspect in custody Thursday morning in connection with the report of an assault.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police charged 23-year-old Dimiti Rike of Herndon on Thursday with aggravated malicious wounding of a person who was known to him, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.
The victim is being tread for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Officers were responded before 9 a.m. for the report of an assault in the 1100 block of Dublin Place, where the took Rike into custody.
Rike is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
