Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested With Help Of Helicopter, K-9 Officers
Town of Herndon Police arrested a suspect in connection with an armed bank robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon.

HERNDON, VA — With the help of the Fairfax County Police helicopter and K-9 officers, the Town of Herndon Police apprehended a suspect in connection with a Thursday afternoon bank robbery, according to posts on the department's official Twitter account.
Officers responded around 12:45 p.m. for the report of an armed bank robbery in the 200 block of Herndon Parkway, according to police.
NBC4 reported that the robbery occurred at the Truist Branch in the 230 block of Herndon Parkway.

At 2:22 p.m., police announced that a suspect was arrested in connection with the robbery. Police did not release the name of the suspect nor any other information about the incident, including what charges were filed.
Herndon Police thanked the Fairfax County Police Department for the help in tracking down the suspect.
