Is There A Big Truck Lover In Your Family? Herndon Has An Event Just For Them In May
Herndon's Department of Public Works will be displaying its large vehicles and heavy equipment as part of Big Truck Days in May.
HERNDON, VA — Families with children who love big trucks take notice. The Town of Herndon's Department of Public Works will be putting the town's large vehicles and heavy equipment on display during "Big Truck Days" in May.
Children and their parents can check out all of the town's big trucks from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on May 5 and 9 a.m., to 7 p.m., on May 6 at the Public Works Maintenance Complex at 1479 Sterling Road.
While the event is free, attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food for the area's needy. Larger groups are asked to call ahead.
