Boy Assaulted, Robbed in Herndon: Police
Three teenagers reportedly jumped a boy as he was walking home in Herndon over the weekend.

HERNDON, VA — A boy was assaulted and robbed by three teens as he was walking home in Herndon over the weekend, police say.
The boy was walking in the 500 block of Florida Avenue on Jan. 15 when three unknown teenagers assaulted him and then stole about $200 from him, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
The boy had minor injuries to his ear and was taken to the hospital, where he was later released to his mother.

Both the victim and his mother declined to investigate the case further. However, police released the following description of the suspects: "The suspects are described as black males in their teenage years, all of a thinner build, wearing blue jeans. One suspect was wearing an orange jacket/sweatshirt and a second a light blue jacket/sweatshirt."
