Herndon High 2013 After Prom Party
The Herndon High School After Prom party is back--and better than ever. Learn more about this great event and ways that you can help!
The Herndon High After Prom Committee and Herndon High Drug and Alcohol Free Activities (DAFA) will sponsor the annual After Prom party again this year. For those of you who don’t have students at Herndon High, this party continues the fun of Prom but is also open to HHS Juniors and Seniors who did not attend prom, but want to take part in the fun!
- After Prom will be held at the Reston Community Center from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- The point of the event is to’ keep the party going’ and include Juniors and Seniors who did not attend prom.
- Parents will be there to facilitate the party…not to participate (and certainly not to ruin the fun!)
- This party is a long standing tradition at Herndon that has suffered in the past several years due to lack of parents to organize. We want to bring it back stronger than ever!
- The purchase of a Prom Ticket allows entry to the party. Non-Prom goer HHS Juniors and Seniors can purchase a ticket for only $5!
- Prom goers should bring a change of clothes for the party. There will be a monitored bag check and there will be a place to hang dresses. A bag will be assigned to each attendee and they can leave all their stuff in a secure place.
- Fantastic Prizes (all with gift receipts)!!
- Senior Only Prize
- Raffle Tickets given for ticket sales…and a $200 cash prize!
- Prizes will be announced throughout the evening
- Grand prizes given toward the end of the evening
- Gift cards, too!
- Great games and blow-ups:
- Mechanical surfing
- Bungee run
- ‘Off with your head’
- Casino that features: Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘em, Roulette, Bingo
- Money machine
- Air brush tattoos
- Movies will be playing throughout the evening and there will be popcorn
- Photo booth to capture the fun with friends.
