Spring is here, and some of Herndon's best-loved spring and summer traditions are getting ready to kick off this week!

Enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, meats, and more - sold directly by local growers and producers. Also this year, there will be chef demonstrations featuring Herndon's restaurants and, later on in the season, once schools let out, the Town will sponsor "Farmers' Market Fun Days," with entertainment for the whole family!
The Farmers Market runs May through October.

Also on Thursday, hopefully the weather will turn nice for one of the most fun family events in Herndon - join the Dept. of Public Works for Big Truck Days!
May 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, May 3, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Public Works Maintenance Complex, 1479 Sterling Road.
The event is free; however, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the needy. Large groups should call ahead.

And on Friday, the highlight of our summer kicks off with the first Friday Night Live! concert on the Town Green, at 6:30 pm. We are hoping for favorable weather next week for our first FNL of the year with Gonzo's Nose. Mark your calendars! Every Friday through Aug. 23 (except for the Herndon Festival weekend).
