Man Found Dead in Frying Pan Park: Reports

Initial reports suggest it may be a carnival worker with the 4-H Fair and Carnival set to begin at the park this week.

Police are investigating at Frying Pan Park in Herndon as reports have emerged that a carnival worker may have died ahead of the 4-H Fair and Carnival set to begin on Thursday.

Fairfax County Police tweeted just after 10 a.m. that there was police activity at the park at 2709 West Ox Road, noting only that there was "no threat to the public." WJLA editor Adrienne Winston tweeted that police were investigating a death at the park, and it was possibly a carnival worker.

WUSA9 editor Susan Phillips later tweeted that the man was found dead in a trailer just after 9:30 a.m. and also said it may be a carnival worker.
