Bullet Fired Into Herndon Home: Police
Police say the woman was in her kitchen when she was startled by a loud noise.

HERNDON, VA — A woman was startled after a bullet was fired through a kitchen window in her townhouse in Herndon earlier this week, police say.
The woman was in her kitchen in the 2400 block of Clover Field Circle at around 4:10 p.m. on Jan. 17 when she "heard a loud noise and found a bullet that had been fired through a kitchen window," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
The woman wasn't injured. Officers conducted a canvass of the area, and witnesses told them they heard a loud noise similar to a gunshot at around the same time.
