Burglar Sneaks Into Herndon Resident's Home: Police
Police say the woman was out and about on Friday and came home to a rude surprise.
HERNDON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect after a burglar was able to get into a Herndon home and steal cash and valuables.
The victim reported to police that while she was out of her home in the 900 block of Branch Drive during the day on July 13, someone entered her room -- possibly through a sliding glass door -- and took an undisclosed amount of cash and other items, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police are investigating.
