HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred just before midnight on Saturday, according to the weekly crime report.

In order to gain entry, two people broke part of the front glass door of business in the 400 block of Elden Street around 11:55 p.m., according to police. The two individuals then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

Herndon police officers issued tickets for 138 traffic violations from April 25 through May 1, according to the weekly crime report. These included one for driving while intoxicated, five for operating a vehicle without a license, two for driving on a suspended or revoked license and 11 for operating a vehicle while hold a phone.

There were nine reportable traffic accident between April 25 and May 1 in the Town of Herndon, according to police.
