Celebrate the first day of school with Herndon Village Network at Dairy Queen!
Between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28th, purchase a sweet treat at Dairy
Queen, 742 Lynn Street. A portion of all proceeds go to support Herndon Village Network, a
local, non-profit organization that provides transportation to Herndon’s senior citizens.

“Herndon Village Network (HVN) thanks Dairy Queen for sponsoring this fun outreach event,”
shared HVN Board President Penny Halpern. “It is a privilege to serve such a supportive
community.”

Herndon Village Network (HVN) provides weekday and weekend transportation for doctor
appointments, grocery shopping, social events, and more! All volunteers are vetted. Herndon
residents who are 55 or older, live in the 20170 zip code, and are interested in HVN services
