Chesterbrook Academy Campers Deliver Donation to Cornerstones
Campers held a food drive to benefit community members served by the nonprofit organization
Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Herndon recently delivered more than $500’s worth of nonperishable food items to Cornerstones. Throughout July, campers collected a variety food items for the organization, which provides support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare and other human services. At the end of the collection, campers sorted the food items and helped prepare the donations for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping community members in need.
