Chesterbrook Academy(R) Preschool in Herndon Donates Gifts to More than 60 Local Children in Need

Students collected gifts for organizations Care Connection for Children and Our Neighbor's Child

On Dec. 10, Chesterbrook Academy preschool on Spring Street in Herndon presented a donation of holiday gifts for local children in need to a representative from Care Connection for Children, a statewide network of centers of excellence for children with special health care needs that is sponsored by the Virginia Department of Health. The representative stopped by the school to help students wrap the donations and thank them for their efforts.

Chesterbrook Academy also collected gifts for 60 children through Fairfax-based Our Neighbor’s Child, which provides holiday assistance to children in the Western Fairfax community. Prekindergarten students stopped by Our Neighbor’s Child’s facility to deliver the donations. Since the end of November, students collected toys and other gifts for both organizations to fulfill the wishes and needs of children on their school’s giving tree.
