University Students From Herndon Earn Academic Honors For The Fall Semester

HERNDON, VA — Most college and university students have return to their campuses for the spring semester. Over the winter break and into the new year, their schools have announced various honors achieved by students during the fall academic term.

The following students from Herndon were named to the president's list at Shenandoah University for the fall term:

To be named to the president's list at Shenandoah University, a student must have earned a 3.9 grade point average for the semester.

Devin McKibbin of Herndon is one of more than 800 Lebanon Valley College students to be named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester. A graduate of Bishop O'Connell High School, McKibbin is pursing a bachelor of music in audio and music production degree. To be named to the dean's, list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Brianna Edwards, an intelligence and national security studies major from Herndon, was named to the fall 2021 president's list at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina.

Faith Harrelle, a marine science and biology major from Herndon, was named to the fall 2021 president's list at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina.

The following students from Herndon were named to the dean's list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester for the fall term:

  • Jemila Ibrahim
  • Anndrea Knight
  • Elizabeth Tello-Llerena
  • Jordan Wentworth

To be named to the dean's list at Shenandoah University, a full-time undergraduate student must have earned at least 3.5 to 3.699 grade point average for the semester.

The following students from Herndon were named to the president's list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester for the fall term:

  • Abigail Starnes
  • Matthew Schipani
  • Ryan Niebla

To be named to the president's list at Shenandoah University, a student must have earned at least 3.90 grade point average for the semester.

Joshua Piazza of Herndon was named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. To earn a spot on the dean's list, an full-time undergraduate student who carries 12 or more credit hours must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Ian Weathington of Oak Hill was named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. To earn a spot on the dean's list, an full-time undergraduate student who carries 12 or more credit hours must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Adrian Perez of Herndon was named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. Perez is an accounting major in Shippensburg's Grove College of Business.
