Traffic Alert: Construction Work at Toll Road Exit
Exit to Route 28 South is taking payments by E-ZPass only; full-service lane reopens Monday morning.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which oversees the Dulles Toll Road, has advised drivers who use the westbound Sully Road South exit through Monday that the exit will accept payment by E-ZPass only.
The “Full Service” toll lane at Exit 9A - Sully Road South (to southbound Route 28) closed Friday morning and will reopen by 5:30 a.m. on Monday, April 13. During this time, only E-ZPass will be accepted for drivers using this exit.

The scheduled maintenance will replace and upgrade equipment at the exit that assists in identifying vehicles using full-service lanes, the authority said. The work being performed is not expected to cause additional traffic backups or delays.
