Dates and Times for Back to School Nights in Herndon

A new school year in Fairfax County begins in just six days, and it won’t be long after that before the arrival of Back to School Nights at schools throughout the county.

FCPS formally released the dates and times for the Back to School Night at each school. Below is a list of dates for schools in Herndon:

• Carson Middle School: Thursday, Sept. 10, 6-8:30 p.m. (7); Thursday, Sept. 17, 6-8:30 p.m. (8)

• Clearview Elementary School: Thursday, Sept. 3, 1-3:30 p.m.*

• Crossfield Elementary School: Wednesday, Sept. 16, 5:45-6:30 p.m. (first session); Sept. 17, 6:30-7 p.m. (open PTO meeting); Sept. 16, 7-7:45 p.m. (second session)

• Dranesville Elementary School: Thursday, Sept. 17, 6-7:30 p.m.

• Fox Mill Elementary School: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6:30-8:15 p.m.

• Herndon Elementary School: Thursday, Sept. 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

• Herndon High School: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

• Herndon Middle School: Thursday, Oct. 1, 6-8 p.m.

• Hutchison Elementary School: Monday, Sept. 21, 7-8 p.m. (4-6); Thursday, Sept. 24, 7-9 p.m. (1-3)

*Back to School Night taking place before first day of school (Sept. 8).
