No Injuries Reported In Deck Fire That Caused $5,200 In Damage To Herndon Home
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel were able to quickly extinguish a deck fire at a Herndon area home Friday morning.

HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel extinguished a deck fire that caused an estimated $5,200 in damage to a Herndon area home early Friday morning, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.
Units responded around 6:57 a.m. for the report of a fire at a home single-family home in the 13000 block of Rock Spray Court. A neighbor had spotted the fire on the home's rear deck and called 9-1-1. Firefighters were able extinguish the fire quickly and prevent it from spreading to the inside of the home. No injuries were reported.
As of Monday morning, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
