Dominion Employee Recognized for Support of Weekend Food for Kids

Assistance League of Northern Virginia Honors Dominion Employee for vital logistics support

At its October Weekend Food for Kids packing Assistance League of Northern Virginia (ALNV) honored Matt Love, a Dominion Energy employee. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation to recognize his dedication and time spent coordinating the monthly food packing events. Along with Gail Banks, the ALNV chair, Matt is responsible for logistics at the site and coordinates all the Dominion drivers and trucks for food pick up and delivery to six Title 1 schools. His efforts are greatly appreciated. Caitlin Cissel, President and CEO of Quadrant, one of Assistance League's biggest donors, also joined the event along with some of her staff and other business supporters. A total of 97 ALNV, business and community volunteers, twenty of whom came for the first time, helped with the packing. It was a most successful and fun event.

The November Weekend Food for Kids packing is scheduled for November 29th at 10:00 a.m. The packing will take place at Dominion Energy, 3072 Centreville Rd., Herndon. Visit www.alnv.org for more information about Assistance League of Northern Virginia.
