Food For Neighbors is an all-volunteer charity that works closely with school social workers who identify students that struggle with food insecurity. Having begun approximately three years ago at Herndon Middle School and Herndon High School, the nonprofit now supports teens attending 18 different schools in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Staff at these schools have identified 250 families for this special Thanksgiving program, and your donation will help Food For Neighbors make the holiday a little happier for them.

As a 2018 recipient shared, "The food at Thanksgiving was very helpful for my family.... All of our income goes towards paying bills, and we have very little, if any, left over for food and clothing or things the girls need. We are always able to come together over food, and having this resource made the holiday season special for us."
