Driver Robbed Sitting At Stop Sign In Herndon: Police
Police say a driver sitting at a stop sign in Herndon was assaulted and robbed by six men.

HERNDON, VA -- A driver who was sitting in his car at a stop sign in Herndon was jumped by six men who assaulted and robbed him, police say.
Two men walked up to the victim at the intersection of River Birch Road and Sunrise Valley Drive at around 9:16 p.m. on May 31, and one of them was able to reach through the passenger window and take the keys out of the ignition, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"The victim got out of the car got his keys back but was assaulted by four other men," the report states. "The victim’s phone was taken."

Police described two of the men as white and four as black, and all of them were between the ages of 25 and 30 years old.
