Elden Street Players Opens 'ROOMS' This Weekend

Elden Street Players first production of 2012, ROOMS: A Rock Romance, hits the stage this Friday, Jan. 27. 

The show focuses on Monica, a singer/songwriter, and Ian, a rock-and-roll shut in. The two hit it off in both the music and romance departments and travel from Glasgow to London, and eventually to New York City. They struggle as musicians, and have to figure out how their relationship fits in with their personal dreams. 

The show is produced by Janet Bordeaux, directed by Todd Huse, with music direction by Blake Brophy, and features Kate Roehr and Michael J. Perez. Tickets for ROOMS: A Rock Romance are $23 and are available online. The show contains mature language and subject matter, and runs through Feb. 18. 

The music and lyrics are by Paul Scott Goodman, with book by Miriam Goodman, and is produced by special arrangement with Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
